On 26 November 2011, the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle once again proudly accepted the award for Meetings and Business Tourism at the WA Tourism Council Awards dinner. The 2011 win highlights the Hotel’s exceptional facilities in the conferencing market for the second consecutive year.
The Western Australian Tourism Awards acknowledge and promote excellence within the Western Australian Tourism Industry. The award categories cover a wide range of tourism products that provide exceptional tourism experiences that Western Australia has to offer.

The 2011 Meetings and Business Tourism Award adds to an impressive list of accolades the Hotel has received for its conference and banquet facilities and services, including the 2009 induction into the WA Australian Hotels Association Hall of Fame for Best Conference and Banquet Services Provider.
Esplanade Hotel Fremantle was also recognised as the country’s best in the superior accommodation category for hotels with a four or four and a half star rating at the Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence held in Sydney in August 2011.
This prestigious award represents the industry’s highest honour for high performing hotels in a number of categories.
