The Pride of Australia Medal aims to bring to public attention the extrordinary contributions of ordinary Australians who do not always get the acknowledgement they deserve. The Pride of Australia Medal is a unique community based program that recognises and celebrates the achievements of these unsung heros.

There are 10 Pride of Australia Medal award categories that celebrate and honour values and attributes including Bravery, Courage, Young Aussie, Community Spirit, Role Model, Mateship, True Blue, Environment, Fair Go, and Peace.
