Guy Turner is an media strategist and innovator, voted runner up for Australasian NewsMedia Executive of the Year in 2018. Guy joined News Corp within the first 6 months of the launch of their initial news websites, and has been involved in the introduction of mobile, apps, AR, digital subscriptions and programmatic advertising. He is a lecturer in experience design for Communications Council WA, founder of the Women in Innovation awards, and in 2015 won best advertising campaign at the International NewsMedia Awards in New York. Guy heads up business strategy, insights, marketing and agency sales for Community News and is passionate about the role that local media, and local business, play in improving community environments.
Tamika Cruickshank is the Group Sales Director at Community news group. Tamika has a wealth of knowledge working across the Perth market with business assisting with marketing options, the digital landscape and how to make sense of it all. Tamika has worked in conjunction with brands such as Google, has won and been awarded many accolades though out her career including one from the likes of Google for excellence in digital campaign performance. Tamika is passionate about Perth, small business and helping you thrive in the current market and this year was nominated for Australasia news media under 35 executive of the year award.
