10 Nights in Port Returns to Illuminate Fremantle This August
This August, 10 Nights in Port returns to transform Fremantle into a vibrant celebration of arts, culture and creativity. Running from 20–30 August, the festival will bring the city to life with an exciting program of live music, theatre, dance, circus, exhibitions, film, workshops and community events.
The festival officially opens on Thursday, 20 August at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre with the launch of two brand-new exhibitions, setting the stage for ten unforgettable nights of artistic discovery across Fremantle.
The 2026 program showcases an incredible lineup of local and national artists, featuring immersive experiences, thought-provoking exhibitions and captivating performances, including:
Myriad Sun – An immersive multimedia performance combining experimental music, 3D projection mapping, performance art and audience interaction inside a striking 360-degree audiovisual cube.
Nullians – A powerful satirical exhibition by Noongar artist Kamsani Bin Salleh, exploring Australia's colonial foundations through politically charged illustrations that have gained national recognition.
The Genesis Project – A darkly witty contemporary dance performance examining monstrous female archetypes through movement, theatrical design and an original score by local musician Annika Moses (Great Statue).
Huddle – Presented by DADAA, this inspiring collection of short films celebrates stories of resilience, belonging and connection through the experiences of people with disability from Fremantle and across Australia.
With dozens of events taking place across iconic Fremantle venues, 10 Nights in Port offers something for everyone, from contemporary art lovers and live music fans to families and curious visitors looking to experience the city's thriving cultural scene.
