Freo’s Alive & Well this Winter
Fremantle's winter festival 10 Nights in Port is back, transforming the town into a vibrant spectacle of music, art, fire, and ceremony from August 7 to 17, 2025.
This year's program boasts 31 events, workshops, and exhibitions, catering to all ages and interests. The historic Town Hall will be abuzz with activities, including children's sensory workshops, a climate cabaret, dance party, and experimental theatre.
At Esplanade Park, Lara Rose Bos's interactive installation, 'Wishing Trees,' will invite reflection and contemplation amidst the Norfolk Island Pine tree canopies. Meanwhile, 'Lucifer Lane' will bring together newly-opened eateries Cassius and Moon & Mary with the Old Courthouse for a night of food, fire, and entertainment.
Other highlights include 'Coven,' a collaborative visual and audio project featuring female artists, and 'Freak Out! The Afterparty,' a late-night variety experience blending drag, burlesque, circus, and cabaret. The Fremantle Chamber Orchestra will also celebrate its 20th anniversary with a spectacular concert at the Town Hall.
Festival producer Jo O'Dea said, "We've curated a diverse program that's sure to entice audiences out of their homes and into the streets of Walyalup. From comedy nights to photography talks and experimental theatre, there's something for everyone”. Get ready to experience the magic of Fremantle's winter festival.
