Bidding closes at 10:30pm on the night. The winning bidder will be notified via email and sent payment instructions. The artwork will be taken away after the Gala for finishing and couriered to the winning bidder once payment has been received.
Auction Item
The auction item is the original live mural created during the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Gala 2026.
Eligibility
Bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
Employees of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce may bid unless otherwise advised.
How to Bid
Bids must be submitted via the official digital bidding form accessible by QR code and the Chamber of Commerce website.
Each new bid must exceed the current highest bid by a minimum of $25.
Bidders may submit multiple bids throughout the auction.
Auction Period
Bidding opens at the commencement of the Gala.
Bidding closes at the time announced by the Master of Ceremonies.
Any bids received after the official closing time will not be accepted.
Winning Bid
The highest valid bid received before the auction closes will be deemed the winning bid.
In the event of identical bids, the earliest valid submission (based on the form timestamp) will be the successful bid.
Bid Updates
The current leading bid may be announced periodically throughout the evening to encourage participation.
The identity of bidders will remain confidential.
Payment
The successful bidder will receive an invoice from the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce.
Payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Ownership of the artwork transfers upon receipt of full payment.
Collection
Collection or delivery arrangements will be made with the successful bidder following payment.
Any delivery costs outside the Perth metropolitan area may be the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed.
Condition of Artwork
The artwork is sold as viewed on the evening of the event.
As a live artwork, minor variations or imperfections are part of its originality and are not considered defects.
Auction Administration
The Fremantle Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse or cancel any bid submitted in error or not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
The Chamber’s decision regarding the outcome of the auction is final.
